Improved Mark Handling. You can now set all user marks to be “locked” by default. Also, the associated text with each mark can be locked, so that it is not accidentally dragged across a chart window (when you intended to drag the mark itself.) |

NavView Horizontal Splits. Two new horizontal view types are now available from the View Manager in NavView. |

Feature Unlock Codes. With this release, Radar, Sounder, and Fleet Manager functionality is now available without a separate CD. Prior to this release, Radar functionality was accessed by installing a Radar CD. With 7.1, an unlock code is all that is required to unlock radar, sounder, and fleet management features.
