The Fluxgate Heading Sensor outputs a NMEA heading sentence (HDM) at 10Hz [10 times per second] to a tenth of a degree of resolution i.e. 310.3 degrees.  It is designed for both Power and Sail applications and operates up to a 30° heel (Angle of the boat).  It is the perfect fluxgate compass to provide heading data for MARPA/ARPA targeting including ARPA support in Admiral, MARPA in Admiral with Radar and heading for VNS with Radar.  For vessels traveling at less than 10 knots it will stabilize the chart and provide almost instantaneous responses to changes in heading.
